The Superpro3000U is a high-speed Universal Programmer supporting over Supports 40,000+ IC devices from 164+ manufacturers including Memory, MCU and PLDs. The programmer features a 48-pin dual-in-line ZIF socket as standard and this can be expanded to support any other package type by purchasing the relevant Package Adaptor. A additional 'Universal Pin Driver Module' is also available which supports programming of devices with up to 100pins.
The Superpro3000U features fast upload of data from the controlling PC to the programmer's) by virtue of a high-speed USB link. In the future it will also be possible to network up to 16 programmers together by USB to make an asynchronous Gang Programmer. Target Data Images can also be stored on Compact Flash Cards which are simply plugged into the programmer allowing it to work in Standalone Mode (i.e. without a PC).

ZIF Socket - Supports up to 48-pin DIL Devices
The SuperPro 3000U programmer features a 48-pin DIL (Dual-In-Line) ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) socket with 48 independent pin-drivers. The 48-pin ZIF socket allows the 3000U to support many more devices than the more traditional 40-pin programmers on the market including high-density FLASH and EEPROM Memory devices which are common in 48-pin TSOP packages. Many of the more recent high-integration microcontrollers also require more than 40pins for programming. A suitable Package Adaptor is required to convert the package of the target chip to the DIL equivalent.
The SuperPro 3000U programmer can also be upgraded via a hardware plug-in module (PEP Module) to support up to 100 independent pin-drivers. This allows the 3000U programmer to support programming of very high pin-count devices such as CPLDs, FPGAs and high-end microcontrollers.
Supports Gang Programming Mode

The Superpro 3000U Programmer can be used in Standalone Mode (i.e. without a PC) making it ideal for production programming. The files to be programmed must be copied to a Compact Flash memory card and this card is inserted into the programmer card slot. The programmer keyboard is used to select the relevant programming operation and then the programmer operates from the information stored on the card. Advanced hardware features --Advanced hardware design minimizes ground bounce noise enabling programming of low voltage, down to 1.5 volts, devices reliably. --Only IC manufacturer approved programming algorithms are used for high reliability. --¡À 5% and ¡À 10% Vcc verification enhances programming reliability.
